On Thai ground...

So after a good 24+ hours of planes, trains, and automobiles Paul, Charles, and I made it safely from Seattle to Udon Thani in Northern Thailand. We've already met some wonderful people along the way and have been bonding well ourselves. Notice from the pictures how ridiculous we look with our cameras, frick'n tourists I tell you. The weather here is a comfortable 80 degrees now after a monsoon (I call it) swept thru about 6:30 this morning as we were out for a jog. It was actually pretty nice, like taking a warm shower outside. By the way the Thai food here is great (the photos prove that Starbucks is literally everywhere in the world and I got a kick out of Ronald McDonald saying "hello" in Thai). I'm glad we have the ability to exercise with running/swimming/digging ditches/etc helps counter the caloric in-take:) We're prepping the way for the rest of the team to arrive and plan to get alot accomplished tomorrow as we begin gathering materials for our work at the ophanage. Looking forward to seeing everyone else in a few days! Safe travels and God speed.
